.exe?

heres the story: my laptop broke, but i got it fixed. but my hard drive got wiped. :smash:
i lost EB v1.1....:embarassed:
no biggie, i though- ill just take the .exe file out of the trash bin on the other computer that i downloaded it on, put in on my flash drive, and transfer it to my laptop, and itll be on again. i also had a bunch of other .exe files on my flash drive, such as for Teamspeak, Xfire, firefox, all .exe files for their installers. all of them opened and i installed the files. all worked but the EBv1.1 .exe file. im thinking its b/c i put it in the trash bin, then took it back out. is that a possible reason?

you don't make sense. are you saying you have the 1.1 installation excutable in the trash bin? if so it shouldn't matter, it is the same as moving files around on your drive. you need to give the error if you want help or answers. you are just confusing people with what you wrote.

ok- the .exe just wouldnt open- im trying again soon.... ill post again...

Something similar happened to me. It finally worked when I tried to open the .exe and let it run for a while. It seemed like it needed some time to load, which is weird because I had never seen that happen before.

nm guys.... i just re-installed the .exe file, and i finally have EB v1.1 up and running.... again....
a bit off topic, i ran a RTW custom battle just for fun, with the LS legionares, the camel horsemen, flaming pigs, and the screeching women....
it was a good thing a trashcan was near!
