If a city owns a unique building, a marker that looks a bit like Stonehenge will appear on the campaign map somewhere in the province. You'll also be able to see the unique building in the city's building list.

Yes, all of the unique structures are placed at the start of the game and are not buildable.

Which of the structures can be visited on the battle map as well? I know of the Pyramids, the Hanging Gardens, the Mausoleion, the Coloss of Rhodos. Anything more? Aigai?

Some of the celtic ones like 'standing stones' can be visited too. This, again, comes down to the lack of building modellers on the EB team.

There are some, like the one near Syrakousai, that are/were planned but didn't make it in yet.

I wish I were a building modeller. Would you accept raw, unconverted gmax-files?
