Quick and simple: Any problems for sort of histrionic behaviour?
I sort of like tend to be like that and I'm starting to think that I might need to seriously calm down. :inquisitive:

Deep breaths? :inquisitive:
Deep breaths indeed.
Find your moral center. Not the squishy chewy flexible one that plays off the scatological events of the day to day, but the calm, inflexible, righteous, tolerant and forgiving one that will see you standing hand in hand with the gods.
Then the events of the day will bend to your awe, and if not, they will at least be able to be dealt with honestly and without need for ceremony.

May I also point out the importance of positive self talk. You know that internal dialogue that's going on inside your head all the time. If you focus on having a positive outlook, constantly reinforcing and accentuating the positive and demeaning the negative the cumulative effect is one of never/seldom going through the process of histrionics. You can do this easily all the time.
It works for me.

Well I seem to be just about the exact opposite in every way possible when looking at the symptoms on wiki.

I have a flat-mate a bit like this, and it is rather annoying. My advice would be to try and self-parse more: before you say/do anything, think "Is this actually funny/interesting/relevant?"
