A Question for musicians

Hey folks,
Last week i hear in the german deutschlandradiokultur latvian "dainas" and it was awesome! very ancient sounds with no real comparison. :music:

my question is, did the latvian daina´s belong to the eb period?

i tryed to find a link or something to hear, but there was only creepy stuff...
it was the in the "schwarzhäupterhaus" riga 4.2.2008, the latvian radiochoir. the moderator said that the contents are germanic and pagan and very very old.
