So I have been playing the Alemanni Campaign for a long period of time now and Im in a stale mate with the Goths so I was just wondering is there a Campaign limit like you have to complete the campaign before it reaches 500AD or such?:inquisitive:

Does it not say in the Faction summary? In RTW Vanilla, it gives years remaining to achieve victory conditions.

The game ends at 476A.D. Historically Romulus Augustus, the last Emperor of the Western Roman Empire, is deposed by Odoacer, King of the Ostrogoth in 476.

As QuintusJulius-Cicero has said the campaign officially ends in 476AD - the historic fall of the Western Roman Empire. You can play beyond that date though, although from there onwards it's impossible to reach any victory conditions (if not already met that is).

Hmmm, well I'm sure I used to have "years remaining" info, but couldn't find it when I looked today *scratches head*

Hmmm, well I'm sure I used to have "years remaining" info, but couldn't find it when I looked today *scratches head*I think it's normally found by clicking on the faction coat of arms in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

It's then somewhere around about where the victory conditions are mentioned. If the victory conditions are met, then it won't display - it's based on how many years you have left to complete them.

It tells you how many regions you got, and how many you need to complete the campaign, or if you require any specific region to win. And how many years left to do it.

Well it does, except when I looked for it to check and explain exactly where it was it wasn't there! So I don't think it can always be displayed. At least I wasn't imagining it, and now I think I understand why I didn't always notice it.
