..an edit button, what is the reason for junior members not being abe to edit their posts? I mean editing posts is possible as I have seen members who have editited theirs. I mean peasants can edit their posts at twc, why not here?

Because this is not TWC.

Junior member is a trial title. If the powers that be deem you worthy of being a member via good contributions, then you will have the priviledge of editing bestowed upon you. This helps keep trolls out who keep editing their posts to annoy others and being able to get away with it. Those trolls usually do not want to wait a long time for promotion before doing so, so it cuts the rate down.

Don't worry. We don't penalize people for making spelling mistakes. If you really feel you need to add something to your post you can post another one, but don't do this too often.
