Hello everyone,I was wondering if it is posible to force a nation make peace with another nation,my example from my campaign with the romans:
Macedon is pushing the greek cities to peloponesos and they(the greeks) have only Sparta and Rhodos...it is a matter of time for them to be wiped out,can i somehow stop this

You could make war on them both and then make them both your protectorates. But that would switch the balance of power rather much, so if you want a 'cheat-free' game, you might not find this to your liking...
You could also force other factions to attack the one you wanted to be stopped - but this might in the long run endanger this one, or even strengthen it even more, if it managed to win these wars also ;)
Generally, the ability to make two AIs make peace with one another is SORELY MISSING in ALL COMPUTER GAMES. Game developers dont consider that it has some strategic value that your ally doesnt expand too much so they think we dont want to be able to influence how our friends behave...
Obtain an alliance with one faction, then do the same with the other. Should be easy with force diplomacy. The two factions will stop warring at the point. Though if they really hate each other, they'll probably still keep warring after a few turns, especially if they have stacks in each others' territories.

Well if you think about it, it's practically a cheat to be able to influence other nations to do that. You could prevent every other faction from expanding if you had that power while you leisurely built up your empire.
So even if they put it in, it would have to be as difficult as getting a protectorate (ie might as well not put it in).

what i do when im not the KH, since i dont like seeing them wiped out early on, i send a diplomat to southern greece. Then i FD Makedonians giving me Athenai sometimes Chalkis with accept or we will attack. Once i have those i destroy Makedonian governments and barracks, then i FD KH recieving these settlements for map info. If they keep retaking the settlements, try add_money greek_cities x. x being the amount you want, becareful doing this though, may flip the tide of the war completely around.

Here's a novel thought: play the game as it is! If you don't want to deal with superpowers near you in the future, don't let them become so, intervene early on, help the KH out in this case.

Well, it isn't entirely ahistorical to meddle in the affairs of others. I was thinking more of when you have an empire of 30 provinces, and then two small friends with each 3 provinces, it might be nice to avoid one of them destroying the other (for a variety of reasons, in my case simply because of a fondness of diversity).
I don't see it would "cheat" any more than one's current ability to negotiate an alliance. Mostly factions resist alliances unless its to their own advantages or if they are "persuaded". Nobody's saying it should be any different regarding meddling in alliances with other players. If you're Carthage, and Rome and Macedon and you are all at the same size, but Rome is defeating Macedon quickly, it would be realistic to have the option to attempt a peace to prevent Rome from swallowing Macedon and becoming twice your size (which would rather weaken your position)... But of course this isn't supposed to be particularly easy if Rome's war's goin' well... Prolly shouldn't be much easier than actually persuading a winning enemy AI to make peace (and that's completely impossible - without Force Diplomacy, but OF COURSE Force Diplomacy could cheat with the kind of option I'm suggesting, just as it already can with Become Protectorate)...

Which is precisely what Rome did throughout it's later history, intervening to maintain weak and divided nations on it's borders. Nothing ahistorical or unrealistic about it.
I came to a realisation as to what the AI is like without Force Diplomacy earlier. Every faction behaves like the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
"It's just a flesh wound" they say when you've destroyed their armies and all their cities lay open to investment if only you chose to do so.
