They have to sleep eventually right? Cut their throats with an old RAM card. :smash:

Take something valuable and hold it hostage and demand an exchange of prisnors

Install Debian Linux on it.

password protected long on and screen saver after one minute? Maybe setup a guest account for him without privileges to a lot of his favorite programs.

I do all that(except throat slit, good idea though) and he's moans and groans and (insert female dog here) to my dad, and he makes me turn everything on for them. I mean I built my brother a computer and then built mine... now that its capable of doing games like crysis and cod4 he needs to use it all the time, and since it is 'my' computer and it uses 'dads' electricity I just added 2500$ to the family.... So his computer capable of handling CoD4 on medium at 1280x1024... mine can max it out... now I'm getting pissed... He won't give me his computer and he won't give me mine... so I have built something equivelent to... lets say... the commodore 64.... I'm dead broke so buying a new computer(parts) is outa the question and all my games and movies and programs and well... my life is stored on my desktop... now I don't even get to use it...

Put it in your room and buy a good lock for the door.

Unplug something inside the CPU, then he will be begging you for help, and you put, ermm, certain conditions and you have it back.

Why are they chucking you off your own PC anyway?

Cause its the only one that I want to use, and in my house its a democratic dictator ship with a little bit of a republic thrown in... if i could get someone to argue my point i could win but my dad doesnt like hearing about it... so I'm oplaying along until I am ready to give them a huge suprise when I'm in my own apartment and their like ' m8, what do we do nao?'

At this current moment it resides in my room, for how long I do not know... hopefully for eternity or until I move out

It will reside there forever if you follow the previously given advice and get a lock immediately!

It will show them you mean business. You can also do things such as new passwords, and, while rather extreme, take out the RAM and hide it when you're going to be away for an extended amount of time.

Just do everything in your power to keep it yours.

I like my new set up, Giant sign on door says 'warning death to all ye whom enter' with a bunch of locks and I put a new loop in my wall and have double chained my computer down... gunna be a jerk when I have to take it apart for the next LAN I goto...

Now you swap the cases of the two PCs and give him the new case with the crappy parts.

Or you give him the new PC and somehow get your mum to find that your bro is watching porn on it.

Younger bro or older bro? If your computer-hijacking sibling is younger than you, then moving out might be your only way of reclaiming lost territory.

Otherwise, I agree with Mikeus Caesar. Fix it so that it "doesn't work", then tell everyone that you have to "repair it". But that might also prevent you from using it, too. :sweatdrop:

But framing bro for viewing raunchy skin flicks works good, too. :laugh4:

There is always the solution that you look that as MC said and claim to be your bro! And you get teh pc back

One Word. KAMIKAZI. Smash the computer to bits, throw it down a volcano, retrieve it, then throw it down the volcano again. Show them you mean buisness.

:idea2: Overclock it to the point of it becoming unstable... frequent crashes and freezing might convince your brother to use his own...:juggle2:

p.s. i dont know about the harms it might cause to the computer or your data... :hide:
