View Full Version : Roman Triumph Broken?
Just out of curiosity, why is the portion for the Roman Triumph commented out in the EBSS Script?

No idea, but I have had a general celebrate a triumph in 1.1.
I've had many triumphs in 1.1...

My understanding is console_command test_message is broken by 1.5. This is the same reason that you no longer get sweet messages for bactrian independence.
The Triumph is controlled by EDCT not the EBBS.
And yes, I can confirm that it works in EB 1.1
1.1 is the only version where I've ever had a character awarded a triumph.

Same is true for me. In 1.0 I very rarely got Imperator and Vanquisher with the same character. Imperator especially was a rarity, I think I got one in the 400-ish turns I played my 1.0 game.

That's probably because you go for a more historical game, and with that you fight less battles on average. If you just blitz everybody with only one character or two, you'll be getting triumphs left and right.
Strange, as in 1.9 the text messages are back (in LOTR TW you get messages telling you about the ring).
The Alex EB team should be notified.
:2thumbsup: I just had me first triumph- yay!!!
(Marcus Iunius Bulbulcus) spring 252BC, for defeating the Carthaginians over 12 times in 2 turns! (lots of little armies they had...)

A Ivnivs Bvbvcvlvs was the first one to get a triumph in my campaign too (fighting in the North against Sweboz). Now have a Cornelius Scipio for beating the hell out of the Lusotanns for 10 ten years, and an Aurelius Cotta for conquering Karthago and Atiqa avarded.

Hello I am new on this forum and to the mod but how do I gain a triumph the trait infromation says He has to go to rome to get his triumph after his victory. (he has the trait imperator btw)
Then perhaps you should have him go to Rome :inquisitive:?
