Battlefield Assasins

I'm currently playing a short campaign as Hungary, but so far I've been unable to recruit Battlefield Assasins. I guessed they might be like Hashashim in that I would need to get an Assassin's Guild to get them, but I've already got one and I still can't recruit them. I ruined my reputation carrying out those assassinations as well. :furious3:

So could someone please tell me what exactly I need to do to get these guys?

According to the EDB you need at least a Master Assassin's guild to recruit them, which is kind of silly I guess, since you can normally only have 1 per faction unless you captured someone else's as well.

Oh, and assassinations don't ruin your reputation unless you fail and get an alliance cancelled that way or declare war by assassination.

So failing alone doesn't harm my reputation at all?

That is silly having to get a Master Assasin's Guild. Are they even any better than Hashashim?

Nope, failing doesn't harm it unless you modded it to be that way. I can't think of any mods that do so though.

They are worse than Hashashin, yes.

Bah! I thought they would be something special considering they are displayed as their unique unit on the main screen for the campaigns.

So not worth me trying to get the Master's Guild?

Yeah, just as silly as the Sherwood Forresters for England only being recruitable from one location. A pity and a bit of a wasted oppurtunity for players to field the special units in any practicable way.
