France has awarded Kylie Minogue its highest cultural honour in a Paris ceremony ...
Christine Albanel today gave Minogue, who kicks off a European concert tour in Paris tomorrow, the Order of Arts and Letters
How does an English Language pop singer get such an award from France?
Is it for the singing or the lingerie line? :belly:
And is it really the highest award too? :bling:
Must be a drought in fashion and music in France. :drama2:

Hey, France is an open and enlightened society. We honour the very best of the cultural achievements of all nations. We appreciate that in Australia's 200 year history, this is Kylie Minogue.

At least the French are an honest people.
I didn´t realize French cultural orders came out like cereal prizes :coffeenews:
when you´re handing these things out to the likes of Kylie you´re scrapping the bottom of the barrel...I mean...I´ll admit she´s incredibly hot...especially for her age...but that isn´t really a cultural achievement,
neither is that lab-concocted electronic pop noise she calls her music.

I can´t understand them so I can´t judge correctly..
