Hello :2thumbsup:

I have the 1.1 Version of EB. Marvellous game but now a new bug has appeard, one that i've never seen before here ^^

243 BC. I - as the romanii - besieged a Town of Epeiros. When they attacked i defeated them in battle an had a CTD. But thats not unusual. I restarted the game and let the battle happen automatically - and lost, wich i did not like. So i loaded the savegame again (by the way: every time i activated the Background Script). This time, when die epriote attacked me, i retreated my army. They left their town, followed me and attacked me again. Normally this way the CTD does not happen again.

Well, once again i defeated them in Battle and as i expected, there was no CTD, BUT ... this time i got 100 times the "the year in history" - announcement and it was not 243/242 BC but 14 AD :dizzy2: It just skiped 200 years of history. Maybe because in the next turn, 242 BC the Polybian Reform should have happend?

Please check that for me, i'm very curious

Here's the savegame:

I will try it once more now, but i can't explain what just happend there. The savegame startes with the besiegement of the Epirote Town. Activate the script and end the turn. Then they will attack.

Just click on a town or your faction symbol at the lower right and click on show me how again. It's a very common occurrence that comes about if you use the script more than once per session. I see it happen all the time.

Thank you. :-) I tried again, this time it worked perfectly

another question: why does the polybian reform not happen? It's 242 BC, i have all of Sicily and 2 of the requested northern territorys :inquisitive:

Just try waiting another turn with the script on.
