Question about inbred vice ??

The description says that it has a -3 Accumen penalty.

I have a general w/ inbred vice and 5 for accumen stat.

Does this mean that his accumen is reaaly 2 or does 5 include the penalty(meaning that 8 accumen was the original stat w/o the vice).

It should already be subtracted (i.e. he had 8 acumen to start with), but some V&Vs are not working properly at the moment, and I'm not sure whether this is one of them.

I'm fairly sure the displayed number of quills is the modified amount (after his inbreeding is taken into account).

However, while this may be true of loyalty, acumen and dread I don't think that the command and valour ratings displayed take into account any modifiers. They're not modified until an actual battle so you have to work out for yourself what they'll be.

After the patch the Vices should provide the bonus/penalty correctly, but now any guess is my guess. You simply can't know what the case is.
