Its 252 BC....Baktria thrives...some of those darned saka nobles and a small crowd besiege one of the cities (alexandreia something ...Eschate prolly) end of turn and....puff...hellloooooo desktop :)
Now...i tried not turning on the script but i get the same result.
Sooo i was wondering....if anyone had the same problem...although it seems that there are a few CTD complaints.
So...any info would be nice.
Cheers all
PS: clean installation and all that... no installation problems....been trying to download 1.1 since it came out and only did it last week (i'm in africa with a very crappy connection)
Can you upload the save here? I may be able to try it out.
You could also try putting a small unit just outside the city at the path of those Sakas. See if the same thing happens.

End of turn? Could you please check which settlements (yours or those of the AI) are about to rebel and (if any) prevent them from doing so by repeatedly typing
add_population "<your_target_city>" -4000

Ok i just tried that and I didnt see any rebelling settlement....i pressed end-turn and this time it went ok pass the Sabaeans but CTD happened in the Seleukid turn.

Well it might help if you toggle_perfect_spy; here's how:
Press F1
The advisor will appear; click show me how.
Click the X (dismiss the advisor) or press X.
DO NOT click on the advisor's portrait.
EDIT: You will see that Side is about to rebel. I will try later today to see if there are other Seleukid settlements about to rebel.
An addition:
Press F1
Click the "?" button on the scroll which appears
The advisor will appear; click show me how.

Did that and CTD occurred anyway on Seleucids turn...not on the same spot though.
I decreased population on both Seleukeia and Babylon as they had no pop growth and thats where it had crashed before.
Althought there was no sign of rebellion i tried that decreasing pop procedure anyway.

Uhh, sorry got sorta caught up with other stuff. Still I managed to find out that Side; Ankyra and Mazaka weren't too happy with AS rule and neither did Sardis look particularly overjoyed either. *But* the game still crashed after I gave them the console treatment; which might indicate trouble in the East as well...
About those post-battle CTD's, though; those seem to be prevented by waiting before you close the scoll. Looks like some sort of hardware/OS/RTW combination freaking out ever so often. I suggest you wait till the post-battle music has finished playing and then close the scoll. That should give your PC some time preparing for the campaign map again.

Maybe you could try my suggestion on post #11 here: https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=103089

Thanks guys. The post battle CTD occurs from time to time and its somewhat manageable i suppose. I'll try those tips after battles.
in what comes to my Baktria campaign....wel...i really hope someone finds out what the problem is.
Thanks...again.
PS: Regading the original reason for this post, i solved it with an older save game....
