Unable to move reinfocrcemnt flag

Anyone had this problem. Sometimes i can move the flag as often as i like but ocassionally after the first move i cant change its position

Hm, I have never experienced that. I do however find that I sometimes forget to click the icon every time I want to move it, and make similar simple mistakes. Can you explain what exactly are you doing/not able to do?

i want to replace the reinforcement flag but i cant. i can do it any first time, place it anywhere on the map. but once i have done that there is no replacing anymore!

Ok, this might sound totally silly, and I wouldn't say it at all if it didn't actually happen to me a couple of times in the heat of the battle:
- Do you always click on the flag icon before trying to reposition it? You know, click the reinforcements icon to open the submenu, then click the flag icon before you click on the ground to place it each time? Just clicking it once the first time doesn't cut it.
- Do you actually have reinforcements available?

If it doesn't happen with every battle, and if you have a saved game before the battles where this was the case, you could try it again, and see whether it happens each time. If it does, try to make note of what are the characteristics of the battles in question, why would they be special in any way.
I'm not saying that you don't know how to do it, I'm just saying that I know how easy it is to overlook the basics from my own experience. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

I've noticed myself that sometimes I click the flag button and try to place the flag but can't. Then I notice the flag button is not actually depressed. I needed to click it again even though I definitely clicked on it previously.
