Some of you may know that in the Greek ages. ( 500-400 BC) , uniforms for soldiers didn't exist.
A soldier (especially the hoplites ) had their own symbol on their aspis (shields )
The meaning of this thread is to make a list of all known shieldsymbols.

Please , only post if you are 100 percent sure. (add a link if possible )

1.Lacedaemonia (Λακεδαιμων ) with Sparta as Capital.
Λ being the first letter and shieldsymbol

Since M2TW can have multible skins/models per unit It would be great to see this.

Not sure if Post-Alexander Hoplites carried on this tradition though.

Yes, they had the capital A of Athena on their shield.
I'll add it to the list.
