Multiplayer Help

Hello, I am Hyeranicus Maximus and I was wondering if i could get some assistance getting into multiplayer mode what's the procedure? how do you start? what are the requirements to start teh program?

I would wlecome any help as I would like to porve myself in some battles and gain some respect.
