just for my linguistical curiosity, is this sentence related to the shape of Catalogna as it is in the banner by jaume, (a "triangle" shape, and the word "fotre" means "f...ck" in catalan like "fottere" in neapolitan? But in neapolitan "fottere" also means "to steal"

"Fotre" is equal to f***k (the "steal" meaning exists in catalonian too, but the main meaning is "f**k") and came like your neapolitan werd from the latin verb "futuere".
My phrase means the first of your options: someone (the catalonian independentists) are still spanish, and be f**ked up for that.

Jaume, my firm is one of my favourite's quotations of Raimundus Lulius (Ramon Llull), from the Liber Proverbiae. Ausias March kicks asses, but in philosophy Llull rulez! And he was born in my city, and received the gift of Illumination in a sacred mountain near the land of my forefathers.

Not in his last days, the first time he came to Deia was in the Thirties. And after the 2WW he fixed his residence there for the rest of his life. Great writer he was, and an odd fellow, as I was told for some friends of him. When I go to Deia I usually go to the graveyard, by the church, to pay a visit to his tomb.

But, Jaume, don't despair, the day will come when we could cry again with one voice: DESPERTA, FERRO!!!

I've spent the last five months away from the city, jokingly pissing everyone off by insisting that Helsinki is the only real city in Finland. Now that I'm back, I remember how depressing it is compared to countryside. From a small town of 5,000 inhabitants, with dozens and dozens of friends, to a city of 500,000, with just a handful of them... But that's just me. I'd rather be somewhere else. :candle:

While I do indeed live in the Capital of Scandinavia I find the idea of me being a Östermalmare quite funny, in fact Östermalmare are probably the most despised people in my area, apart from perhaps Lidingöare.
And yeah, last time I went to Malmö I could barely buy anything, because nobody in the stores knew swedish. Oh well, at least it´s better then Denmark, where they won´t let anyone in, except Swedes looking to take advantage of the alcohol tax.

IN EB the answer to HA's is to outrange them (Hindu longbowmen, Subeshi or other good archers)
In the American west superior range came with rifles... Not coincidentally, the Russians occupied Siberia in the middle of the 19th century (old world HA's) at the same time as Americans occupied the great plains and western US (New world HA's). Rifles and Railroads are the key to beating horse archers once and for all...

Yeah, it's a crying shame. My ancestor, being a chief, was basically forced to sign a treaty with the Canadian government to ensure the survival of his people. The treaty document can be easily accessed on the net, and his name, as well as an explanantion that he marked his "x", is on it.

I'm proud.

Malmö? I don't think so. I don't even think it could even be called Swedish anymore because of the politicians' sloppy work at maintaining control of the city. Rampant immigration, poor effort in bringing means of social integration, and a dimwitted attitude towards the dangers of Islamism all have contributed to the situation; You might as well as call Malmö "Ramallahmö", if you get what I mean

I think Appo meant that he lives in Stockholm. Jävla Östermalmsstekare allihopa ~:joker:

The problem with islam is that the "extremist crackpots" are growing in power and numbers - I don't want to argue why it happens. I truly respect islam, but not these fundamentalist bastards.

But in all Europe we have the rampant problem of inmigration, and we have to solve it. In Barcelona, for example, there are some neighborhoods that seem Karachi, and Madrid is more Quito and so ecuatorian than spanish.

I should point out though that this part of Ireland isn't all Guinness & Shamrocks. And, while I'd like to make some sweeping statement about cultural diversity, the reality is that it's pretty much just a simulacrum of Scotland but with worse hair, and slightly better life expectancy :beam:
