Help, I'm having trouble with an "infinite loop" bug on my PC, or a "Thread Stuck In Device Driver" error. Anyway, I read somewhere that a way to solve it without opening up your PC and messing about with the slots inside is to switch from a HAL or APIC thing, to a "Standard PC" type computer.
Any help on where to get a "Standard PC" driver? Also, am I even doing the right thing? Remember I don't wanna go messing about inside it just yet. I'm using an Intel Pent. 4 with hyper threading. If that's at all relevant. Thanks for any help guys. :smug2:
