Is it possible to change something so that you can zoom-out more because At the highest I can just see over the really huge walls.

I think that anything regarding zoom is hardcoded and thus not nothing can be done.

Scroll the camera over the large palaces(in a huge city) and it automatically zooms out like crazy past the maximum zoom. Lol, that's all I know.

I believe there is an option for camera angle in the preferences.txt...
