Barbarian Invasion isn't a mod. It's an expansion to RTW.

yea, I know but i'm counting it as one to put on a surevey. But I guess I should have just called it mod/expansions, i guess
The best is always a custom modification.
No RTR? No SPQR? No Gah!?
Hmm...:wink2:

Sorry, only the top bosses.:egypt:
I'm just curious, what criteria do u use to determine the top bosses?!

Criteria - know, I just thought of some I know (hosted mods) and put them on and that's what I ment as bosses, (hosted mods).
Given one of those isn't a mod (BI), another is a minor mod, which is included more or less in EB, while the others are all total mods, the set can't really be compared fairly to each other.
With all respect, RTR and SPQR should be added.

Well when you put it like that, I guess I should. But how?
Because both mods are pretty much major.

I know but how do i put them as options to vote on?

I wonder what makes a mod a major mod? The amount of work put into it? Amount of coverage in the media? Number of downloads? :inquisitive:
Perhaps the ratio of modded to vanilla stuff? :)

Yea, probably the most change.
Perhaps the ratio of modded to vanilla stuff? :)

I picked EB.
I like realism.

I don't see RTRVII:TIC on the list :(
It might not be very big in terms of the number of factions/regions, but it's completely new work and totally separate from any of the previously created RTR-based sub-mods.

Not surprised you said that.
I mean you being a dev on it. But RTR stands for any v. you like.

Then you might want to check out the ones above.
I reccomend Eb, Roma Surrectum and MMM.

My favorite one.... Hmm...
Well, RTR VII: TIC - because I was involved in creating it for several months. It's been downloaded over 10k times since its release , yet it's still fairly rarely mentioned in the modding community...
The latest version of ExRM is quite fun and challenging. It's what I currently play.
Imperator II was good for when it first came out, but I think ExRM incorporates most of its better qualities now
I tried EB some months back, but found it too laggy for my rig (old P4 3.2GHz with 7600GS) and thought the UI was... umm.. ugly (don't mean to start another RTR-vs-EB holy war, just my first impression)
I have BI, but I've never played it. Seems like a waste of time.
Mundus Magnus Map - eh? Yeah, it's a big map, but there are plenty of other mods with big maps...
Haven't tried SPQR or Roma Surrectum, but I've heard some good things about them. Though, personally, I'm not a fan of 0-turn recruitment. Battles are fun and important, but I like to win my campaigns through strategy rather than by spamming full stacks of cannon fodder every turn.
Ogniomi Mieczam - I think you meant "Ogniem i Mieczem: TW", i.e. Russian-made "Огнём и Мечём: ТВ". Translated to english, it means "With Sword and Fire: TW"

To be honest I haven't played any been too busy modding to look into various mods without knowing i'll have the required time to give them a full going over .
Which are modfoldered?
EDIT: Have to say I loved EODII with its doom and gloom fantasy.

RTRVII:TIC is mod-foldered, requires BI
ExRM is mod-foldered, works both with or w/o BI, and I know some people have adopted it for Alexander
EB is mod-foldered, I think it uses BI, don't remember exactly
ImpII is mod-foldered, doesn't need BI, but can be adopted to it
Don't know about the rest.

Thanks I have BI. None of the download pages actually say modfoldered on and that tends to put me off. Will have a go.

LOTRTW/EB/N2TW. I love them all. Plus Death and Glory TW, but seeing as that's unreleased (yet!) it doesn't count
