Chapter one

The year is 270 B.C., and Greece only had five poli at the time, Sparta, syracuse, pergamum, Thermon and Rhodes. The ruler Kleomenes of Sparta had four sons, all governors of a city including himself. Kleo was a man with one goal, world Domination, even though he knew he would'nt live long enough to his country expand to great size, so he decided to start now.

Kleo's first move was to take the Macedonian city of Cornith, so he moved his own army of:him and his bodyguards, t hree hoplite units, and two of peasants. After 2 months of marching he finally reached the city, he demanded the construction of ladders and a sap point.

Here is chapter 2,enjoy!

Chapter 2:attack on Cornith

After 4 months of building the seige equipment, Kleo and his army were ready to attack.

Cornith, luckily, had sandy land which therefore was easy to dig, which means it would be easier to sap the walls. Kleo sent his most weak unit, peasants, to dig,in case anything serious happened in the cave,he would'nt lose any of his good troops.

After successfully knocking down a peice of the wall, the enemy general was waiting there. Being a little overcofident, Kleo decided to take out the general with him and his bodyguard. Charging, Kleo rammed into the enemy general, killing a few of the bodyguard from the greekin weilded spears and from impact.

After a few minutes of fighting, both sides with a few casualties, the Macedonian calvary retreated back to the town center. The spartan king, watched as one of the Macedonain calvary men carried the dead body of their general on the horses back. Kleo and his calvary turned back to his troops to tell them the way to the opening was clear.

After the signal, two units of hoplites came over to the general. Kleo order one unit to take the gateway by charging up the tower and taking out the unit of archers that were guarding it, the other unit of hoplites would head to the center take out the unit that was guarding it and secure it for three minutes at the most.

First unit:

After getting out of phalanx position, The hoplites stormed the tower,a few dying by the tower archers. Once about half of the archers were gone, the cowards accually called for reinforcements! After a few extra minutes, a few extra greek men gone, the greek unit finally won.

second unit

Since the first unit didnt take many injuries, they decided to take the place of the second unit.

The first unit reached the center and saw the 2 units left,1 of hoplites, and of the few remaining calvary. The hoplites decided to attack what they "thought" would be the weakest:the hoplites. BAD idea! At the last minute, the enemy hoplite unit made a phalanx right as the the greekin troops were getting ready to smash into the Macedonian sheilds. But it did'nt work that way so Macedon killed about 30 greeks in the first few seconds.

Kleo heard their crys for help and decided to help. He went around half the city to flank them. The next you heard was the clashing of metal, and macedonian crys.

After a few minutes the macedonians were dead and the greeks won the day.

I might just suggest that if you are trying to make it really believeable and interesting, you might leave out things like 'then he built roads' or 'then he trained a diplomat', this will probably make it much more believable, just a suggestion :2thumbsup:

Well your overall plot is good, keep up the good work!

Here's chapter 3!

chapter 3

After successfully taking the city of Cornith, Greece had a marvelous celebration throughout the country. Cornith provided many trading resources, including timber and marble, and the best part was taking possession of one of the seven wonders, the statue of Zues.

But unfortunitly, the celebration did'nt last forever, so it was back to conquering the world the next day. Still being the year 270 B.C., Kleo decided to take over some more citys, but not by fighting, but by diplomacy. With the two diplomats trained a few months ago, he could do just that.

Over two years, Kleo's diplomats managed to take, Athens, Halicarnassusm and Kdonia, two armys, and another one of the seven wonders: mausoleum at Halicarnassus, and a man named Xenophan of Amphipolis became governer of Sparta.

Meanwhile, with the two armies the diplomats bought, Kleo decided to take the settles of: Sardis-a Seleucid town, aand Cyrene-a rebel town. Army one was going to take Sardis and army two would take Cyrene.
