I was thinking about forts today and it occured to me that I've never heard anything about modding them before. Here are the things I'd like to know about, if anyone knows:

Where can you change how much they cost to build?

Is it possible to have each culture build uniqe forts?

How involved is it to change their shape and how many towers they have?

Can you mod things like the range and rate of fire of a tower on a fort?

Is it possible to have units spawn as part of a fort? I'm wondering if I could make a fort that has onagers in it for instance.

Thanks to anyone who can answer any of these.

data/descr_cultures.txt, search for "fort_cost", it is culture-specific.

There are multiple settlement plans in the "settlement_plans" folder, one for each culture, so I assume yes.

Quite involved I think. See webbird's new fort HERE (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=157167) and HERE (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=21888).

Don't think so, but then again I could be missing sth... Webbird would be the one to ask.

Don't think so.

Is it possible to edit the time how long the fort is on the campaign map before it disappears??
I mean .. the fort could be without troops but can be there for 2-3 turns?

Thanks for the info Aradan,

Has anyone actually finished a fort and put it up for download?
