I've had that happen before. Seems to be a RTW bug when I guy dies and gets thrown in the air at the same time.

One of the strangest bugs with RTR, you know how men used to get stuck behing obstacles, well if a group of infantry got stuck behind a dead elephant they would sometimes scream, fly into the air, land, get up then stand around for a bit before screaming and taking off again! They must have had some strange drugs back then lol.

Same here, but just like at the OP it was with carthage at me. If this is the same at u, it might be a problem with them carthies.

Oh well I should add that he wasn't flying any more. He stayed there. He was "buried" in the air for the rest of the battle.

Never drink a Red Bull before a battle. It makes it so difficult for battlefield scavengers to loot your corpse.

don't you think that is exactly what everyone wants? I mean, who wants to be dead, naked, and in the dust?

Well, that's where birds go when they die.

I had that twice, once in BI with a peasant who remained in the air after cavalry charge, and once in EB after a battle at a steep hill. That one looked like a ski jumper.
