Hi everyone

Im fairly new to MTW but not a noob. I am pretty much sick and tired of MTW crashing left and right, after saves, after attacking crusades, etc etc...

(oh shoot, mtw crashed, thats odd)

NO ITS NOT MY COMPUTER.

Another thing, why is it taking so long for them to release a patch? Wasnt this game released in around August?

Damn when I got Warcraft 3 they had a patch out that fixed major problems within 2 weeks after the release.

(mtw crashed, brb)

A few things about the game that could of been improved:

Ship warfare..

In campaign battles I hate the way a ship with 1 movement speed can run 1 ocean territory away from a ship with 4 movement speed, and not get attacked. The computer does this over and over to avoid battles. Why doesnt the ship follow and attack it??

Assassins...

Would be nice if the assassin you tell to assassinate someone actually did so no matter how far the guy you are assassinating runs. This should definitely apply when you start in the same territory as the possible victim.

(oh wait just a sec, mtw crashed)

Multiplayer...

Why wasnt the game made where you could have multiplayer campaigns? Would it of been that hard to implement into the design? The way it is now, ill be bored of this game in about 2 weeks because you can only play against the pea-brained AI so often. Sure you can play multiplayer battles on gamespy or lan.. OOOhhh... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.. wheres the strategy in that. (limited at best)

(wups hold on a sec, mtw just crashed)

The v&v problems have been discussed enough so I wont bother whining about that.

Why restrict people from choosing all factions? Whats the point? If someone wants to take little ol switzerland, I say let em go for it.

(NEED PATCH QUICKLY, MTW just crashed again.)

Great concept for a game, poorly implemented.

How did it get such a high rating? I guess those guys that rate the game play it for about 10 minutes and base their judgements on that.

Yes, could have been better at release, but I think that many of your specific complaints will be addressed in the patch, and I think that they will continue to improve the AI with patches. As to the timing of release, I guess it depends on whether you were unlucky and experience crashes. A lot of folks who don't are happy they released it ahead of schedule.

Mine crashed last night during a castle siege, no fighting, just during the firing of one cat. We had the rear wall at 80% and that was it. I also know my system is fine with other games.

Is there a way to actually fix the crashing problems?
