Total War Forum ?

What has happened to the Total War Forums.
I have been unable to connect for several days.
Then tonight, when I tried to connect, I got a message that "access was denied", or something like that.
I am working from my own private PC, at home, and have not been banned or anything from the forums.

Funny thing is ... i was second to Sidhe is overall posts but I am happy to say only three were helpful to a newbie ... and only 4 in total had a point at all ...

Oh ... and there was that poll about goats.

Yea I got a message that I was forbiden to enter the site. At first I thought I was Banned. I know Im paranoid but that doesn't
mean I'm not being followed. I know it's way out there but you don't think this is all a
farce because they don't have the patch ready? NAH they wouldn't do that?

My e-mial address has been sending out spam to people ... I dont know how to send out spam but there it is when I look at the sent mail category ... hundreds of spams sent out to people ... i have been getting hate mail from the recipients too ... AOL has yet to get back to me ...

I don't think we've established any definite hacking, nor any definite similarities between them.

Check with people who know, you geek friends, norton/mcafee, or your dell customer service person, or whatever, if you're really worried about any issues of being hacked.

I've spent some free time this last week investigating my browser, my security options, my cookies, my erroneous files, etc... and so far I've found nothing.

If there was hacking that took place, they probably just targeted sidhe and bs cuss because they both talk too much. (just joking, of course). I'm actually kinda bummed, if there was hacking, that he left me out, after all I did start a post bad mouthing the hacker and his defender on the .com forums.

i can second that,

however, i haven't had anyproblems, none that i can detect anyway. i got a cheapo firewall and it hasn't told me anything, of course, i may not know what to look for. but everything seems ok here.

Ya they were hacked. Most likely by some teen wannabe. At any rate once he or she gets caught its a very Serious criminal Charge that will be placed on him. Including invasion of Privacy, spreading a virus, Illegal use of Computer. And EA can also sue for buisness losses do too the down time.

At any rate would hate to be the teen that did this.
