Game crash

When ever I try to lpay campaign in MTW, after i chose nation and click start, it shows the load bar and then it goes to that window you get when you pause the game, the screen flashes, and the game crashes.

What is the matter? Is it a bug of some sort? :(

First off, I would recommend you check out this thread (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=79500) I've stickied in the Main Hall. It lists some of the more common solutions to getting MTW to run.

If that doesn't work, then you should post your problem in this thread (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=69367) in the Apothecary. The good folks there may be able to help you out. ~:)

Hope you can get the problem fixed - M:TW is a very troublesome game on newer computers. Bear in mind that Nvidia Geforce 8 and (presumably) 9 Series graphics cards are, as far as I know, totally incompatible with M:TW. All ATi graphics cards are also proving incompatible with M:TW when combined with Windows Vista ~:)
