I'm currently up to around the year 210BC, until now once a year I used to get a scroll pop up telling me what happened in the current year (the history of the factions and who won the Olympic events ect)
Iv'e noticed now though that these have stopped appearing and I havn't seen one for a good 3 years (12 seasons) now maybe even longer.
I think I have disabled it in some way because yesturday for the first time I had changed the preferences file and accidently enabled the minimal UI which confused me when I started a battle. I started pushing all the F keys to get the UI back to normal and I think one of these key presses has turned off the scroll but I'm unsure which one.
In the end none of the key pressing restored the UI and I had to exit the game and turn it off in the preferences options again however the history scroll is still gone.
In short my question is, please can you tell me how to make the history scroll start appearing once a year again as I'm playing as the Romani and I was trying to form my Empire by using that as a loose guidline.
