It says on the description for these buildings that they actually increase trade has anyone specific info on how much or if this is true?

I think you mean "town MERCHANTS" and "master merchants", right?
The Militia buildings are for training higher level militia units.

Never noticed an increase in trade. Loyalty seems to go up, but trade...? hmmmm....
