Hi. I'm playing Medieval: Total War Viking Expansion, under the Viking Campaign and as the Mercians. I can't seem to move ships onto the sea space between my eastern coast and Jutland. What's going on? When I hold 'V', the space is yellow. How in the world do I get agents to Jutland (or any of the Viking homeland), or for that matter, how do I attack them? Thanks.
Hello WifflePerson, welcome to the Org ~ .
Ships in M:TW are divided in coastal and deep-sea types. In the Viking Invasion campaign, only the Vikings have deep sea ships. The only way to conquer the Viking homelands is to bribe the garrison with a diplomat. However, you do not need to occupy these in order to win the campaign.
Welcome aboard, WifflePerson! Good to see you here. :medievalcheers:
As Labrat said, you cannot conquer Hordaland & Jutland via military force, as only the Vikings have deep-sea ships. However, you don't need ships to get agents across the North Sea if you want to send them there. To transport agents across the sea, you just need to have two provinces with a port. ~:)

Thank you very much for your replies. I hope to not fail too badly at this game soon, and I appreciate the help.
