View Full Version : Strikethrough not working properly

I thought I should bring it to the attention of those whom it may concern that the [ S ] ... [ / S ] tags do not work properly. Namely, they will format correctly the first time you post, but if you subsequently edit your post, the tags will automatically change to [ s ] ... [ / s ] and these will remain as "s"s in square brackets even after your post has been edited. Thus, could the lowercase "s"s be made to work once again please?

Thanks in advance.

They work just fine.

Like I say, the effect works fine upon first posting a post, but when you go to subsequently edit it, the "S"s become lowercase and the strikethrough stops rendering correctly unless you manually change the "s"s back to uppercase "S"s.

Ummmm did you not see that I edited that post just before posting the link here to verify?
And I used small s which works just fine as you can see if you try to quote it.

It works fine for me - as FactionHeir has said, I don't think that vb/bb code is case sensitive, so I wouldn't have thought that the case of the tags would be a problem.

It is as it used to be, after my testing, you simply need to refresh the page for some code to show up.

Oh, now I see, it was indeed a case of me not refreshing the page - the render is applied correctly after a refresh. Well, my mistake, then.

There's changed in the bbcode though and default settings disable some for me: sub, sup and some others. Refresh can be tricky indeed, but it's possible that some won't work. Please report.
