View Full Version : Multiple Triumphs
I believe that the answer is no to this question but I wanted to be sure. I have a character who recieved a triumph from kicking the Carthaginians out of Sicily (by the way I love the new working Triumph system). Since that time I sent him over to North Africa and was given the trait "conqueror of Cathargo" that says he needs to be named imperator before he can receive a triumph
My question is simply this, is it possible for one family member to receive more than one triumph or no?

It is. I got one family member getting 3 triumphs, and that was on 1.0, so it´s certainly possible.

!??!?!?!?!? Why not? There were after all people who did get multiple triumphs (though not many) and in extraordinary cases I don´t understand why a man can not be granted more than one triumph.
Because the code changes which were made to relax the requirements for a triumph made getting a second triumph too easy. Fixing that would have required more time than we felt we had at our disposal.
We'll revisit this for EB2.

Ok. How about making another level to the Triumphus trait, one that tells that this fellow has actually celebrated more than one triumph? Then the requirements for that trait could be raised.
After all, it´s not very historic to get the same bonus for your first as for your second triumph.
umm unofficial mod perhaps?
