I apologize for quickly posting my last thread without looking over the stickies that very damn well explain how to ask for help! :wall:

First campaign I played as Pontus nearly a year ago. I got to around 243-245bc and the game started consistently crashing. Not necessarily in the same spot, but very frequent crashes. I quit EB/RTW out of frustration.

A week ago I did a clean install of RTW and EB 1.1, and started a KH campaign. I got to 243bc and frequent crashes started again.

The only mod other than EB I have installed is Forced Diplomacy in order to help out stubborn AI.

I have been invading Rome. First crashed occurred after I battled a large Roman army, and crashed after battle. After reloading and auto_resolving that battle, within a couple of turns, another crash when doing "end turn". I am letting one of the Roman cities rebel with only a small stack of spearmen. I destroyed everything in the city and just letting it rebel/ be recaptured. Now I can play for a few turns, but eventually the game will crash, not at any precise moment, but frequently.

This is the link to my save game. http://www.axifile.com?1292933

I have just downloaded all permanent/temporary fixes, and will try again to see if I get any more crashes. I will keep you guys updated on that. Thanks!

Those frequent crashes may just be the missing sprites that you've just remedied with the fixes. Let us know how you fare :2thumbsup:.

Seemed to be no CTD, at times the FPS slowed down tremendously, and on campaign map froze for a good 5-10 seconds once or twice...but no CTD's for about 4-5 turns. Sweet!

Then BOOM, CTD.

Oh well, having more fun with my Saba'a campaign anyways.

For some reason 70% of my "hahah your savegame is corrupt and theres a duplicated client ruler" bullcrap happens in the 240's

245 is the new 66 BCE lol

Perhaps it could be the Sweboz reform marker spam? I don't know how early that can happen... That is a ticking bomb though, as a city filled to the brim with "buildings" that builds another will crash the game.
