Playing as romani. I've invaded part of Asia Minor. But Ptolemaioi is giving me a hard time and I am currently playing in the defensive. Potnus also backstabbed me. So right now I am fighting at all front. Even though Pontus isn't a direct threath. And I could easily finish them off. They leave me wournable for the Ptolemaioi. I am also in a war all to early against the Arveni. (the Aeidu is conquerd) Again not a big threath. But I has to divide my armies to west and east. Not being able to give a real desicive blow.

I am Allied with Seleukid. But they are quite hammered by the Ptolemaiois. And I fear they do not even exist. But if I find them. I've planning to give their lands back. Retreat, finish the barbarian threath. And invade Alexandria and push up north towards asia minor again... But my fear is that the Seleukids will not be able to defend against the Ptolemaioi. And then all will have for nothing. And Grece will be threatend for an invasion.

What will you think?

Give Asia Minor to Seleukids and fortify Byzantion... REALLY fortify Byzantion. It works the other way around - as Seleukid a fortified Byzantion can keep all the European powers at bay for the ENTIRE GAME if you just fill it up with good phalanxes. I don't know what kinda troops you Romans have, but just get a lot of good defensive ones and hold it no matter what. I don't think AI's in Asia Minor will enter Greece without taking Byzantion first. They won't the other way around at least (my Pergamum is barely garrisoned while the Macs are tearing themselves to shreds against Byzantion).

Well Right now I suffer a bit of megalomania. The Defence of Asia Minor have gone quite well. And I've won the heroic victory afte the other. Basicly it is to just lure the slowly Phalanxes out of formation. And attack them at the rear....So this share thing... I do not know. Especially know that reinforcments finaly has come. So that I may retake the invasino against the :egypt:

And Maybe I will retaliate against the darn Seleukdis. For being so unhelpfull :laugh4:
That would probably doom me. But hey. It feels good to suffer from delusion of grandeur :clown:

When I wanted to kick the Seleukids out of Asia Minor, I gave it to Koinon Hellenon and Makedonia (and Pontos), though deliberately mixed up so neither really got any advantage from it. Now I've reduced Makedonia to just holding Krete by giving everything they had to KH. Currently kicking KH out of Greece, then I'll take what I left them with in Asia Minor.

Darn why didn't I give Asia minor away. Now the darn Ptolemaio is throwing everything they have at me. And the Reinforcments is still at least three-four turns away.

Well well. Guess I have taken water over my head :sweatdrop:
