How do I move my mod to the kingdoms.exe?

The title of the post says it all. I tried to switch medieval2.exe to kingdoms.exe in my mods .bat file, and the game doesn't start up. Since I have alpacas mod folder, essentially what i am trying to do is let me play the vanilla campaign with the kingdoms CD.
