It's odd. Some people seem to get many CTDs and many others seem to get none...

I used to get tons of CTDs, but after I switched to Alex.exe, I barely have any problems anymore

I've got it on ALX.exe manage to get past it but I fought a big battle againest a 10 general just above the alpes and won so I didn't want to go past it again and maybe lose anyway I've got past it by loading up an early version but lost the battle :wall: anyway I've not been so far in to EB before but I'm loving all the big battles :2thumbsup:

i probally understood you wrong, but 'ere it goes, did you uninstalled and installed again RTW and its patches after a new version of EB was released?

no left it as it was got all the EB on top of each other it seem to work ok with other people on Muiltplayer so I don't think it could really be that

I think I started the campaign on 0.9 EB but got fend up after I about 35 years of doing nothing then started again in 1.0 EB and then CTD about 232 BC anyway started again on 1.1 EB anyway I guessing it just the now and then that CTD's happen as I'm past that CTD by going back a few turns and doing a few thing different so I'm guessing that the only way to avoid CTD's

That it is probably how to make the game unstable. BTW, you aren't playing EB 1.0 if the campaign was started in 0.9 as most files are only loaded at the beginning of the campaign. It is highly likely that many of your CTD problems comes from you playing a campaign started in 0.9 on 1.0 files (some .txt files are loaded each time you load a save and they may be looking for elements from files that your campaign still thinks are 0.9).

I would uninstall reinstall and delete those save game files. If you like the campaign to much, I would uninstall reinstall to 0.9 but no further.
