View Full Version : What happened to the cut scenes?

One of my favorite aspects of Shogun: Total War were the cut scenes, usually featuring assassination attempts by Ninja and Geisha. Sure, after a while they get repetitive and half the time I'd click to go on, but they were really well done and fun to watch. I especially liked how each scene had the same beginning but different outcomes, so you could look for the "cue" that the victim was on to the assassin just before he stuck his katana through the tent!

I was really looking forward to more cutscenes with this game, but I have yet to see a single one. Otherwise, it's a great game.

they got rid of em in shogun total war battle edition as well. But no there isnt any video clips. i guess the game is already big enough and also movies would make the game take to long. plus who wants to watch repeditive clips everytime your iman gets assasinated

I miss them...When you've got the time to enjoy a game, there's nothing better than whatching some leader sucking poison off the end of some string.

But hey ho, the game takes so long anyway 30 sec's for every assassination, heretical burning, treason trial etc. may be a tad OTT
