The blog mentions refunds though? I do remember Sims-Online ages ago though, so I doubt refunds would be given to those who paid some time ago.

I've always detested EA, if a game is published by EA I usually don't bother buying it. They really don't understand the value of "goodwill".

The blog indeed mentions refunding, but some players are still getting billed for the game and they dont want it.

6th: "mistakenly" bill customers one month after they cancel their accounts, knowing that 20% of them won't take the time to sit on hold with customer support to clear the matter up.

Just ask players of good olde UO. EA have been cooking up money recipes longer than anyone in the business.

EA is slowly destroying the computer industry. But they do have some good games.

If EA have a large part of the computer industry, then we are doomed. And in fact, we are kind of doomed. They dont understand that something free is : Something that you DON'T have to pay for.

I'm a bit annoyed when I see the lie of a free game when you have to pay, but I can't understand those who have been victims of a fraud when they paid 4 years for money, and now they are closing servers and the like... I recall seing commentaries of all kind in that blog. Those people are annoyed, and sadly, won't be able to do anything. Oh well, looks like we will need to find other games of the like or simply boicot EA.
