Textures?

:help:I'm stuck I just plain can't edit textures even though they are only .tga.dds files. I have Vercingetorix's X-PAK and a program called GIMP (tga editor)but I can't open textures if anybody has a list of things I could do to open them or just a way to make X-PAK work in this way

First this isn't a tutorial, and should be in the modding questions forum. Second to answer your question, the file is not a tga file, but a dds file, and as such you need the dds plugin in order to be able to edit it.

Yup you need a dds plug-in
search for that at the Nvidia site.
