What are the characteristics of a good general? Charismatic?Vigorous?Sharp? Thanks..

As far as I'm concerned, not being Langorous is about all that really matters.

Logically, I would presume that Charisma and Vigour attributes matter the most. By simple observation you can conclude that Charisma affects leadership skills (command, morale) while Vigour determines (but there is always a random factor to it) combat abilities (hitpoints, morale). Also, most generals get much better with experience. AFAIK negative combat traits are rare.

Pretty much. Besides Sharp characters left idle tend to be prone to negative traits related to scholarship or appreciation of the finer things in life.

Oops, let vêr if I understood correctly, with traces generals get experience? eg + morale for troops? and another question, if he is uncharismat and has several other features by adding the + morale, yet it is still a good choice?

Beeing optimistic is vital too, because it prevents from getting the nasty "gloomy" trait (-2 TroopMoral)
