Hayasdan Ethnic Traits

In my recent Hayasdan campaign(My God, this is fun!), two young family members who came of age didn't receive the ethnicity traits of their fathers. It's been three turns so far, and still nothing. Anyways, one was a Hayasdan noble from Hayasdan, I believe... and the other was a Hayasdan noble from Hayasdan, too, except he was a "Haya-nized" Scythian.

It's only a minor bug, I'm sure, and I'd appreciate any help on fixing it. Sometime in the future, anyways.

EDIT: I said they didn't receive their fathers' ethnicities. I meant that they didn't receive any ethnicity traits at all.

Whoa...! I was taking a look at the trait files, and its much more complicated than the mere situation where the son gets his father's ethnicity. It brings in the level of the Hai empire, where the faction leader would be a plain Arkah, or Arkahenarka (sp), or a Shahanshah. For example, a Scythian noble family from Hayasdan can, over time and by chance, be slowly Haya-nized each generation until the males are Hayanized Scythians with next to no links to their ancestors.

I think. Whatever the case may be, it doesn't seem to be working properly...

either way I'm afraid if there's a fix I don't think it will be save game compatible... since (if I'm not wrong) that would change EDCT file

Depends on what the fix is, changing EDCT by itself does not mean a change is not save game compatible.

Don't worry yourself, man. All the same, the Hayasdan faction is awesome, and I can see a lot of time and love was put into every aspect of it. Good job to everyone who took part in it. I don't mind if it's temporarily on hold, but I have to admit, this complex ethnicity trait system is pretty awesome. Can't wait to see it working.
