The original RTW advisor was basically switched off. The only "useful" function it serves now is to activate the script via the show-me-how button. As for your other question about scripted speech programs....I have no clue.

P.S. Forgive me for nitpicking but on your sig, both "multiplayer" and "tournament" are spelt incorrectly. Purposely done? :inquisitive:

Don't worry about your spelling. It's like I've got OCD or something. I always just have to point out grammatical errors. As long as it's moderately intelligible, it's good enough.

I'm afraid I don't have much help to offer regarding your questions about scripted speech programs. I've heard some things about them but know next to nothing about how you would even get it to work. AFAIK It's a program like Notepad where you can highlight certain words that you want your PC to actually "speak." However, it doesn't seem like the sort of thing that would be compatible with EB or even RTW for that matter. Creative Assembly (the developers of RTW) most likely hired voice actors to speak the specific text written for the advisor. Maybe you can change the text, but you still wouldn't be able to change what they say. Even then, I don't know how you would implement "spoken text" into the game. The idea as a whole doesn't seem feasible. At least not to the extent you would have it perform. Sorry I can't be of more help but I don't think it's possible. ~
