No blood? No smoke?

for some reason when the dead bodies fall on the battlefield theres no blood that apears and smoke doesnt apear when units start tramping around. I can run the game fine and made sure that "fauna" and "smoke" were checked under performances. What could be the problem?

Smoke? I only get dust kicked up from cav units .. I am not sure what u mean by smoke?

Blood? Its not really an individual based game and blooed would be more individual ... I dont mind the lack of blood though if memorey serves me corectly I have seen blood.

Then again I am drunk and would swear that I have seen the virgin Mary ... ok ... I havent really but I would feel blessed if I did.

yes dust is what i meant. i dont get dust or pretty blood like in shogun.

You shoudl turn on smoke, errm dust, in the options. Check in some desert battle: make a couple of units run to see whether it's there. Also try zooming in close to see whether it steers up.
