Maximum Troops

If playing with the default setting of large armies can I still have 16 units or am I limited to 1600 troops within the 16 units maximum?
When on normal troop settings I know this applies.

you are limited to 1920 units on the largest unit size or 16 units per amy stack whichever comes first however you can field any 16 units in battle even if they are 200 sized spear units

Yes Yoko is right, 1920 per stack, but you can field up to 3200 men at any time... 16 * 200 = 3200.

Well, you can have 3.200 yourself + 3.200 for youe enemy + 3.200 for a ally, that's 9.600 troups. Close enough to 10.000 for me :-)

I think they should double the unit cap (with smaller flags) to 32 http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
Is that 1920 men hard coded? If so, that needs to be changed to at least 3200 and if they do 32 units, then it will need to go up to 6400.

If you are playing a lan game with 8players you get ova 10000 troops but that got slow coz one guys computer couldnt keep up with the game

Or, alternatively, it isn't. You don't need to play a multiplayer game to do this. Set up a custom battle with seven AI opponents, and you can easily get over 10,000 men on the field. The maximum is 25,600, if everyone has 16 units with 200 men apiece.
