Multiple battles during the AI turn

In my Romani campaign I've been having a fairly consistant problems with CTD's. It happens when I have to fight mulitiple battles during the A.I.'s turn. Since this has started, around 215-ish, to now, (206-ish, i've been on the attack as much as possible, to try to avoid the AI attacking me during their turn. However, I cannot avoid all of the battles, so is there any way to lower the amount of these ctd's?

Wait 10-15 seconds after the result screen pops up before pressing the tick icon to close.

Have you installed the sprites fix?

No, I haven't added any fixes. All I have is a fresh copy of RTW 1.5, and eb1.1 I downloaded from the site. I'll try this sprite fix and see what happens. *crosses fingers* I'll be busy for a few days, but i'll report back with the results.

thanks for the fix, i've played for 5 years and no crashes yet! Now i just need more time to play.
