Hi there... I have two questions for my fellow EB fans today...

1: After I've installed Rome, Alx and EB (in that order), is there anything specail I need to do to make Alx work with EB, or is it automatic?

2: How can I tell if alx.exe is working?

Thanks in advance...

Yes.

Take your EB shortcut, right-click, select "Properties", and edit this line:

C:/.../Rome - Total War/RomeTW.exe -mod:EB

to

C:/.../Rome - Total War/ALX.exe -mod:eb

Havok.

1- Follow this (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=94861) instructions made by Maksimus to make EB playable on alex.exe or just download Lz3 mini mod pack (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=105242) and unpack on your rtw folder

2- very simple way to find out, while in the game press alt+tab and check the symbol of the rtw program, if is the alex symbol, you got it working, if its the regular rtw one, you did something wrong in the process

not...exactly hax...

If you do that your Family members will be immortal

try downloading the alex EB files (second link in my signature) or if you have several other modifications in EB you can make the changes yourself too

Does it?

Huh, no clue. I don't have Alex myself, I figured that would be the easiest way.
