ok, we've tested my new map and it seems to be ok. it's now posted at the org, thanks to tosainu http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
this is a NEW bridge map. before you groan and walk away, take a look at it. this may be the first bridge map that is fairly balanced...i wouldnt say completely, but it does give the attacker a MUCH greater chance if he uses his head.
this map is good in 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and in the 4v4 game one player from each side will actually start on the opposite side of the river from his teammates. it's a tricky map, with lots of tactical options. in the first multi test i was able to get my army completely across the river before my opponent could respond. in the 2nd game i played the defender and my opponent played the same trick as i had...so i went over to his side of the river http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif
we've also tested it in 2v2 and a few surprises came up that even fooled me http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
i LIKE this map, so i named the river after me...the Kraellin River *grin* get it. it's at the org now!
