I don't know if this is the place to ask, but....

The Total War forums (as in www.totalwarforums.com (http://www.totalwarforums.com) are down and have been for some time. I understand they were hacked some time ago, but are they down permenantly? Does anyone here know?

What I dont understand is how a group could make a game as good as MTW and not even be able to maintain a forum board .... so it got hacked, big deal!!! Lots of sites get hacked, most are back up within hours. No patch, no info about patch, site not maintained properly ..... smacks of contempt for thier customers imo

Ya the anticipation is really getting to me as well. At least though, we have this fine forum to continue discussion. I take it Gil hasn't posted anything here in the past few days? Patients is a required dicipline in this day and age, and I'm certian all will come out well soon enough. (these crusades are really driving me nuts in the meantime!)

From what I understand from a post last week from one of the devs. Is that they get it up and get hacked again. Or are still getting attacked. Other then that I havent heard anymore about it.

Perhaps they have to prioritize:

First, finish Patch
Second, Fix .com site.

I suppose they could switch their priorities if you guys ask nicely. What do you say? hehehe!

I thought the patch was currently with the (stateside) QA dept. And Giljay has posted here recently, I think that would mean that if there was any news to be had, that it would be being had as it were :crazy:

I think the janitor tripped over the power cord to the machine and pulled it out of the socket. So its just unplugged.
