Hey guys,

As some of you may know, the sequel to Brothers in Arms is coming out soon. It seems to cover the battle of Market Garden, primarily fought between British and American Airborne and elements of 2.SS Panzerkorps. Check out some trailers here:

Hell's Highway (http://brothersinarmsgame.us.ubi.com/?__utma=1.2276896178413874700.1216876556.1216876556.1216876556.1)

I never got a chance to play the first one, and I was wondering if you guys have played it and what you thought. I buy FPS primarily for the multiplayer so thats what I'm interested in the most. Do you command a squad like in single player or does it revert to a basic FPS? Is the community active?

Thanks!

I don't play multiplayer, but I do love the single player aspect of number one. The realism makes for a much tougher and more interesting game.

Seconded ^^

I had for console and I struggle a lot with FPS' on consoles, but I will say I was quite impressed and really liked the realism. Hell's Highway should keep on pushing the bar even higher...

Multiplayer sucked though, the weapons weren't very accurate so the best way to a takedown was whacking them on the head.

Was MP not rather limited in max # of players?

I owned it for a while but sold it because the mp wasnt even going. There was never anyone in the lobbies and never any games.

Thanks guys. I guess i wont be buying this one on release. The destructible environment looks really good so hopefully they have worked on mp.

Funner than hell in SP, though, I gotta throw in one more vote for that. Plus it was the first WW2 game I ever played that had the balls to not neuter itself when it came to realism: everybody swore, there was tons of blood and the characters were even rather believable. Definitely not a 40's style cleaned-up game like "Medal of Honor" or "Call of Duty." Half my enjoyment of the original was just in the fact that it was so different from the mainstream.
