Odd question, but hey.
I decided in my Rome game earlier today, to get the ability to Recruit Italic Generals in Rome (seems historically Accurate to me), so I knocked down my type 1 gov there, built a type 4 gov there with process_cq, and that was that. When, however, I came to knock down the Type 4 and replace it with a type 1 gov, I realised the type 4 gov is not in Roma's building menu, so I can't destroy it. I tried killing the Client Ruler, by sending im to his doom against a handily placed brigand army, but to no avail. Help!
I'm guessing that you have too many buildings to display the newest builds, try destroying something quick to rebuild and see if it shows up.

You probably just have too many buildings in the settlement to see them all in two rows (if I understand the question correctly). As you're using process_cq etc anyway easiest way to get around this is to destory buildings in Roma until there is enough room for the Gov4 to display, then get rid of that and use process_cq to replace the buildings you destroyed.
As for the client ruler, tell him he's going on a fishing trip, put him on your worst fleet, then send it pirate hunting :2thumbsup:
Hope that helps
you made your capital a client ruler state?? that seems weird :smash:
emm what if you place your capital somewhere else... the first thing that comes to mi mind

Already dead.
I only made it a client state so I could recruit Italic Generals in Rome.

Well, you can change their recruitment from export_descr_buildings.txt. A nifty trick would be to copy the line where the Praetorians are located and replace the name of the copied line with the name of the Italic general. This way you will be able to recruit them only in Roma with a Royal barracks.

This. There's a limit on the display of 40 (? I think it's that many) buildings, so other stuff just gets pushed off the screen.

okay, cheers. when I'm on next, I'll try this.
Also the game will crash when a city gets too many buildings. This will only happen due to a wayward script, however, such as the reform marker spams we've eliminated.
